RIVERVIEW: Methane facility explosion investigated; flare expected to alleviate odors

RIVERVIEW — Officials said the cause of an April 19 turbine explosion at the city’s methane recovery facility still is unknown, but a flare was installed Thursday that should alleviate odor problems by burning methane that is not being processed.
