A Mid-Michigan security company calls its new product 'breakthrough technology.' It's marketing a new camera system that's designed to eliminate false alarms and help police.

The West Central Board of Education received a lesson in security during its Monday, May 14, meeting. Technology coordinator Mike Heinemeyer explained that five cameras have successfully been installed around the school's exterior to monitor the parking lots and entrances. Three more will be added to the outside of the school building throughout the summer.
